A little about Schell’s expereince in her own word’s:
In retrospect I was introduced to the form of chant and mantra with the repeating of the rosary as a young one
with the Brigidene Nuns in Brisbane and still to this day I love the calming attributes of chant.
When I was 13 I was introduced to Transcendental Meditation to help provide a path to deal with loss and grief and
which I see as the power of acceptance. A few years later I was able to spend some time with the Venerable Ajan at
the Box Hill Buddhist Temple in Melbourne and this experience still resonates deeply within in me some 30+ years later.
In the past 5 years I have studied with Martine Batchelor, French based, prior- Zen nun, Ruth and Ian Gawler, the Venerable
Rinchen and Swi Kriya. Three years ago I was asked by the Flying Doctors at Bama Bubu to teach an introduction to Meditation
and have delivered these teachings based from the Yoga Sutra’s in private and general classes in Cairns, Cape Tribulation, Wonga
Beach and Mossman – and now Port Douglas.
I simply translate different perspectives and key points and combinations of awareness that have enabled me to touch self
observation and clarity to enhance this physical life with breath being one of the key focuses.
